Upcoming Classes:

Cindy Foose is coming October 31-November 1, 2016. Come join us for a fun opportunity! Our newest "Wink and a Nod" pattern "Dolly" is ready for evaluation and testing. Cindy will conduct a two day workshop featuring the techniques and finishing for this clever design. You won't believe how quickly the construction can be completed and how many variations can be implemented to create innumerable looks from a dressy party frock straight through to a playful, everyday favorite.

Cindy Foose will be here November 2-3, 2016. Cindy will be teaching a holiday variation of the pattern she and Sally designed together! The hands-on class activities and unique construction techniques suited for the season's fabrics coupled together with individual guidance will seem almost like having a private sewing lesson but with the fringe benefit of the camaraderie of a class of enthusiastic, creative stitchers like yourself.

Trisha Smith is coming back to Farmhouse! Trisha will be here May 17-20, 2017 and will be teaching three projects in just four days. The projects are: "Francie"-Cluny Lace Heirloom Blouse, "Gabby"-Strip Pieced Dress or Top, and "Harper"-Sassy & Stylish A-Line Dress.

Trisha's next class is only two days later on May 22-25, 2017. She will be teaching another three gorgeous project in four days! The projects are: "Claire"-The Madeira Dress, "Shanna"-Go Go Godets, and "Robin"-Gathered Delight Dress.

The focus of this three day class will be precise machine construction and fine finishing details. Students will make a coordinating dress and jacket. The construction method for finishing the jacket eliminates almost all hand work! The coordinating dress features piped, bias cut tartan overlays on the bodice front and sleeves.

Have you ever wondered if you could smock an entire dress without any of the stitches showing? The smocking design featured on this 100% cotton, sheen sateen dress has a seed bead slipped on with every stitch. There will be five kit color options (red, baby pink, baby blue, turquoise, and royal), all paired with white beads, white collar and sashes, and white laces. Basic geometric smocking ability is a pre-requisite for this class.
