Bridget Anderson’s "Joy to the World!" with "Noel" Stripe

Bridget says, "Your little one will be full of "JOY" twirling in her peppermint delight backwrap dress. I know one question my daughter always asks when I make her something is, "Does this one twirl?" Nashville Cotton’s Noel stripe called for a bold smocking plate with a lot of color. Cherished Stitches’ "JOY" was just the plate. It was an added bonus that it takes no time to smock!! To pull more of the color out of the stripe, I added jumbo red rick rack to all edges and the bottom hemline. Double buttons in red and green give one more detail to the back.."
