Bridget Anderson’s "Valentine" Outfit in Pink & Red Dot Twill

Bridget says, "Think Valentine’s Day w/this Children’s Corner Pattern "Lucy" using an adaptation from Aug. 2006 Creative Needle Magazine. Bright pink rick rack was inserted in the seam & a red Curlz font monogram was added to the top. Red pique buttons & piping are the perfect ending touch."

Bridget used #506 Sizzle Pink Imperial Broadcloth to line the jumper, and made the hair bow from our 1 1/2" wide cotton/rayon grosgrain ribbon in the color "Flame".

For this Size 2 outfit, she used:
3/4 yard Twill #299
3/4 yard twill #298
3/4 yard #506 Sizzle Pink Imp. Broadcloth for lining
Jumbo rick rack bright pink x 1 1/2 yards
Red pique piping x 2 yards
1/2" red pique covered buttons x 4

Unfortunately, the pink w/red dots has sold out, and it is no longer available from Fabric Finders. However this same dress idea can be repeated using many combinations of fabrics still available!
