Spring is peeping in, bringing new life and new beauty. The darling machine shadow embroidery on the apron was designed and is offered as a download by Kathy Drew. The underlying shadow portion of the apron is stitched onto white organdy, with the outline stitches delicately framing the design on the apron front. The dress is made from all cotton microcheck fabric, with the apron of Swiss Batiste, and the light and airy sashes from Swiss Muslin. The dress and apron are trimmed with gathered fine Swiss edgings. There is a double-entredeux Swiss insertion down the back, finished off with 3/8" matching micro-check covered buttons. A bouffant slip was added for extra fluff and flair for the bouncy little spring chicks.
