Bridget Anderson says, " Ava called this her ’Rainbow Dress’. This outfit began with the purchase of these fun tights at Gymboree earlier in the season. I knew I wanted brown with pink accents, and my friend, Sarah, suggested I make a Children’s Corner, "Charlotte" in brown corduroy with multicolored buttons. Giant pink rick rack down the front gives a pretty scalloped look, and the multi-colored buttons match Ava’s tights." Click for close-up view
Jane W with her Children’s Corner Pattern ’Johnny’! Jane says "My favorite is that gorgeous navy corduroy which is reversible to the navy /red plaid pima that I bought via "Barn closeouts". The pant legs are about 2" too long for him but his mamma will not let me shorten them, because she loves to see the plaid on the hem turned up." Click for close-up view.
"My Grandsons Callen and Decker at Stuhr Museum in Grand Island, NE where I am an educational interpreter. I often purchase your shirting bundles to make clothing for the boys and blouses for myself. Callen’s sailor shirt is from an 1897 pattern from Repeated Originals. Another photo of Callen and Decker preparing for the Fourth of July Parade at Stuhr Museum. Bridget’s version of Children Corner’s "Lucy" in lavender for Ava is adorable! Pants pattern is Bonnie Blue "Jillian". Lavender featherwale corduroy top and pants coordinates perfectly with Fabric Finder’s "honeycomb" design print in lavender, lime and white. Bridget used lime spaghetti to trim above the honeycomb ruffle, making the applique-machine embroidered design (from Embroidery Boutique) on the top stand out perfectly. The finishing touches - lime green piping and lime covered buttons! Click for close-up view
