    Cookie made this cute dress using the pattern "Jo-Jo" by Olive Ann Designs and she used some of our new shirting from the Gitman Brothers as the main material for the dress. (3 yards). Red grosgrain was used for the bodice (2 1/2 yard), the straps and the adorable red flower (1 yard). A navy chevron Riley Blake button was used in the center of the flower. Such a cute Summer Dress!     This is a breathtakingly beautiful smocked bishop (Ellen McCarn pattern) using our beautiful "pink satin squares" luxury cotton fabric. #125 pink ribbon has just the right delicate pink touch to use in the Swiss beading above the hem and at the sleeve cuff. Delicate Swiss edging with attached entredeux applied non-gathered is a beautiful touch. Connie used smocking plate, "Karen" by Ellen McCarn. This is the bishop dress that was used in the new Bishop Construction DVD with Connie Palmer. Click for close-up view.

Our sewing fairy made these dresses out of a beautiful solid white hemstitched dotted swiss cotton fabric. These dresses will be great for Emma and Lila on the beach for family photos.     Bridget says, "Your little one will be full of "JOY" twirling in her peppermint delight backwrap dress. I know one question my daughter always asks when I make her something is, "Does this one twirl?" Nashville Cotton’s Noel stripe called for a bold smocking plate with a lot of color. Cherished Stitches’ "JOY" was just the plate. It was an added bonus that it takes no time to smock!! To pull more of the color out of the stripe, I added jumbo red rick rack to all edges and the bottom hemline. Double buttons in red and green give one more detail to the back.."
