"Thank you" to Debbie Parker for sharing this beautiful smocked bishop dress she made to donate to her church’s bazaar in memory of her Mom. She used Fabric Finder’s "bows" print cotton, Ellen McCarn’s "Beautiful Bows" smocking plate, Ellen McCarn’s "The Bishop Dress" pattern, Swiss edging for the sleeves. This is a breathtakingly beautiful smocked bishop (Ellen McCarn pattern) using our beautiful "pink satin squares" luxury cotton fabric. #125 pink ribbon has just the right delicate pink touch to use in the Swiss beading above the hem and at the sleeve cuff. Delicate Swiss edging with attached entredeux applied non-gathered is a beautiful touch. Connie used smocking plate, "Karen" by Ellen McCarn. This is the bishop dress that was used in the new Bishop Construction DVD with Connie Palmer. Click for close-up view.
