Bridget says, "Fabric Finder’s floral pique #294 makes a beautiful summer bishop or bubble when paired w/light blue pima gingham. Use bias strips to bind the edge of the sleeve and neckline for a pretty contrast! Ellen McCarn’s "Heather" was smocked by my friend Tammy." Click for Close-up view
Bridget says, "I have been saving this darling insert smocked by my friend Tammy (Kiawah Crabs by Ellen McCarn) for just the right fabrics to come along. Paprika gingham & spearmint gingham are the perfect colors to make this simple sundress (Holly by Bonnie Blue). Sundress is lined in white broadcloth, ties are paprika gingham, and dress is spearmint gingham by Fabric Finders." Click for Close-up view

This is a breathtakingly beautiful smocked bishop (Ellen McCarn pattern) using our beautiful "pink satin squares" luxury cotton fabric. #125 pink ribbon has just the right delicate pink touch to use in the Swiss beading above the hem and at the sleeve cuff. Delicate Swiss edging with attached entredeux applied non-gathered is a beautiful touch. Connie used smocking plate, "Karen" by Ellen McCarn. This is the bishop dress that was used in the new Bishop Construction DVD with Connie Palmer. Click for close-up view.
