KIT- "Pink Perfection" is a beautiful, raised waistline dress kit. This dress features an exquisite Swiss 'Mousseline' fabric for the collar with delicate embroidered pink dots trimmed in Swiss laces. The dress fabric is a new line of fabric from Spechler-Vogel called 'Fancies'. This fabric is soft and has a look of both linen and chambray. We used "The Bodice Dress" pattern by Collars, Etc. (View 4, Sleeveless with View 3 collar). Pattern not included (linked below)

We have included Pima Cotton Batiste (backing fabric) for the underlining of the top and bottom pieces of the collar. Underlining is simply basting your main fabric with a backing fabric (from the same pattern pieces), while it is still flat. You will baste the Pima Cotton Batiste pieces to the wrong side of each of the main top and bottom collar pieces - now, your pieces with two layers, are sewn and treated as one piece. Next, sew as instructed in pattern, with your new two pieces.
