"Lydia's Lace" Nighties, Sewn by Evy Hawkins of a Bit of Stitch

Evy Hawkins of A Bit of Stitch sewed this sweet nightie using our Legacy "Romantic Rose" lawn with a beautiful machine embroidery bodice and a shell tuck stitch for a scalloped edge that gives a "lace look". Evy used the PDF pattern from Vintage Little Lady called "Danica" which she modified. The bodice design is from Evy's "Lydia's Lace" collection. Per a Bit of Stitch, "The design elements in this collection were created and used for Evy’s youngest daughter Lydia Sera’s wedding… including the wedding dress! An accomplished artist, Lydia Sera creates paintings and drawings both realistic and whimsical. These lace designs are based on her more whimsical works with all their lovely swoops, flourishes and dots. Evy worked in a touch of southern heritage with a stylized pineapple to tie it all together." So beautiful and sweet!
