Back in the early 1990s, Sally Whinghter was busy raising her 5 boys and sewing for fun. As her children grew, so did her hobby. Her small personal sewing business quickly evolved into a retail shop that out grew her sunroom... then her living room. Her husband, Joe, built her a warehouse on their farm property and business has been bursting at the seams ever since, Seriously, they added on for the 5th time just last month.

What is Sally’s secret? We think Phyllis Hoffman described it best in her article in Classic Sewing magazine (Holiday 2019) which they have generously allowed us to share with you. Do enjoy!

Although historically a mail-order business, we welcomed walk-in-customers on certain days and we hosted many events - sewing classes/workshops, guild meetings, and our annual tent sale, just to name a few. Like so many others, we are currently closed to the public. Interestingly, with so many folks stuck at home or with free time on their hands, the sewing business is just booming!

We are blessed to be as busy as ever with all our customers now shopping online. We look forward to the day when we can welcome customers in person again, but until then, we will see you online. We are always just a call, text, email, or social media comment away.  Let’s keep touch!
