Antique Layette, 15" Baby Dolls, by Primrose Lane Patterns

Antique Layette for 15" doll or preemie Wee Care gown* . Inspired by layettes popular in the 1940's and 1950's, this charming pattern provides all of the basics for your favorite baby. It includes a full length gown embellished with hand smocking. A sweet little jacket, long robe, and bonnet are also included. These are embellished with delicate hand embroidery, and optional ribbon bows.

Of course the pattern also includes old fashioned "nappies". (Aka Diapers), as well as a warm receiving blanket. The blanket is also embellished with hand embroidery to match the jacket, robe and bonnet.

Though the pattern is designed for hand embroidery, machine embroidery can also be substituted. In addition, charming print flannel fabric may be used and the embroidery omitted entirely.
