"Bloomin' Strawberries" - Kit using Bonnie Blue Pattern #122 McKenna (view 2), up to size 6

'Bloomin' Strawberries' Kit is sure to be a spring & summer favorite with its adorable strawberry top & paired with adorable knee length pique bloomers* (can make shorter, according to your preference, see pic)! Shown is an optional strawberry embroidery design (see link below for separate purchase).  Connie created an optional decorative overcast stitch to the piping, see video and pics below for instructions. This kit uses Bonnie Blue Pattern #122, McKenna*, View 2  (Patterns not included in kit, available for purchase linked below). 

Kit includes: 

• 1/2 yard Strawberry Print (FF-2723) (top)
• 7/8 yard Cobalt Pique (Piq-1-FF-30colors-cobalt) (top border, bloomers*)
• 5/8 Yard - Lining, white (bodice lining) 
• 1 yard - German Interfacing strips, white (buttons reinforce)
• 4 yards Cobalt Pique piping (FF-Piq-Cobalt) (arm, neck, top border, bloomer cuffs)
• 5 buttons (H-56-1356-Flower-royal) (red linked below, if desired instead)
• 5/8 yard of 5/8" elastic (bloomers)
• 3 spools Mettler thread, #102 red (optional piping design), #1301 blue, and #1000 eggshell

Use a piping foot or a foot that the cord will fit in comfortably.

Select an overcasting stitch (on the Baby lock 3.5W , 2.5L (see pic))

Select a #80 Universal needle

Optional: Connie folded leg cuff up to 1/2 length per her preference.
