Carolyn Johnson sewed her precious girl's flower girl dresses, and we adore their classic and whimsical style! Carolyn self-drafted the patterns, and of the dresses, she stated, "The bodice is from LLK "Liberty" with a hand drawn sweetheart lining. Use a short sleeve pattern and add a couple inches to the crown of the shoulder for poof, do not bind the bottom. The older two got a triple circle skirt out of silk organza (younger double circle skirt). The first fold only went half way (did not meet edge to edge) to give skirt dimension and to not have any seams. Machine ecru embroidery on the front and back. I used my sewing machine's scallop stitch to edge the hem and sleeves. MY FAVORITE is the see through back with the satin covered buttons (no lining). Lining made from sheen sateen and double skirt. MY FAVORITE is the back with the satin covered buttons. Lining made from sheen sateen." Thank you for allowing us to share, Carolyn! Follow Carolyn on Instagram at @carolyns.clothing.creations
