"First Communion Aralia" sewn by Carolyn Johnson using Peony Patterns "Aralia"

Carolyn Johnson created this beautiful First Communion Dress using our gorgeous Baby Blue Double Embroidered Scalloped Border on Ivory netting and #139 poly satin ribbon to coordinate. She chose Peony Patterns "Aralia" for the bodice and drafted a rectangular bobbinet skirt.

Additions / Modifications to Peony Patterns "Aralia": added to back for a zipper and button closure to adapt it for a non- stretched fabric.  For the underskirt, she cut the rectangular fabric at an angle to make a circle skirt in sections.
