"First Holy Communion", Sewn by @abbeydwilkinson of "Dress Them Dearly"

@abbeydwilkinson sewed a special First Holy Communion dress for her beautiful niece, which they designed together. The pattern is "Pascale" from Sew Beautiful magazine. Abbey underlined Sheen sateen with the same organza she used for the veil. Abbey self-drafted the smocking design and used pearls with DMC Blanc. Per Abbey. "If you know Roberta, you know that this dress is so "her." Many a prayer has gone into these stitches, and I hope it wrapped her with love on her special day! She was so sweet and got me a St. Tabitha (the patron saint of seamstresses) charm as a thank you!" This classic and beautiful dress is sure to be a cherished heirloom and a special memory for Aunt Abbey and Roberta.
