Whitney Hollis used the Children’s Corner “Charlie” pattern for the bodice/sleeves and paired it with the “Harper” bubble bottom to make this beautiful Heirloom Bubble. She made small adjustments to the pattern to get the proportions how she wanted: taking 1.5 inches off the bodice length and adding that same 1.5 inches to the bubble when she cut her pattern pieces. This gave her a slightly shorter top with a fuller bubble shape. Click here to see YouTube video tutorial.
She used a white Swiss Batiste fabric and finished it with champagne Maline lace, white Swiss insertion and white entredeux for a soft, classic look with dimension and contrast. (see links below for products used).
