KIT- 'Christmas Tree Dress', Using the 'Lucy' Pattern by Children's Corner Patterns, Size: up to 6 yrs

KIT: "Christmas Tree Dress".  Connie Palmer created this adorable A-Line dress idea (*Children’s Corner "Lucy" pattern) years ago for Farmhouse Fabrics and it has proven, year after year, to be a timeless creation. The dress kit uses a beautiful red featherwale corduroy and is lined in red pima gingham! Connie used a flat bias to create the ruffle around the hem, topped by a row of Christmas plaid spaghetti bias!  Size:  up to 6 yrs.

KIT includes:

• 1 yard RK red corduroy (dress)
• 1 yard FF 1/8" red gingham fabric (lining)
• 1/2 yard German Interfacing 2" strips (button/buttonholes)
• 2  1/2 yards FF 1/8" red gingham flat bias (ruffle at hem)
• 3 yards Christmas plaid spaghetti (T-31) (Christmas tree and above gingham ruffle)
• 1/8 yard FF 1/16" brown gingham spaghetti (tree trunk)
• (7) 3/8" FF red gingham shank buttons (Christmas tree embellishment)
• (1)- star button (I-1-star-yellow)
• (4) 1/2" red buttons (2 each shoulder) (C-10-DB-red)
• 1/2 yard - 2" strip German Interfacing (interface button/ buttonholes)
• 1 spool Mettler thread, red

**Sewing Tip From Connie- Use a triple stitch on your sewing machine to attach the spaghetti tree with white thread. Connie made a bias ruffle to finish the hem by folding the bias in half and gathering it, then she topped it with a row of T-31 spaghetti bias! Now - That’s SEW CUTE!!
