Ms. Dot’s "Butterfly Fields" Baby Daygown

Ms. Dot made this beautiful "Butterfly Fields" baby daygown out of white nelo, beautiful champagne Maline French edging, insertion and entredeux. The pattern is "Baby Daygowns" by Old Fashioned Baby, and the embroidery design was drafted by Ms. Dot. She took inspiration for her hand embroidery from many patterns, and she was especially fond of Jeannie B's Book of Heirloom Embroidery Designs & Stitches which she used often and is linked below.
