"Nutcracker Dreams" by Anne Dickson

Anne Dickson sewed this precious nightgown for her granddaughter using the luxuriously soft Sea Island knit "Clara & the Nutcracker" print. Per Anne, "This is the first of four pieces of holiday sleepwear I’m making for the great grandkids in Texas. I must be out of my mind. I did start early! I bought this absolutely precious Sea Island knit with the Nutcracker theme last year. It finally made its way under my sewing machine needle. I can’t begin to say how precious this print is! Not to mention the sumptuous softness of the knit.  I used a pattern from Australian Smocking & Embroidery. Many modifications. Any square yoke dress pattern with a high yoke will work."
