"Mommy & Me Silk Dupioni" by Abbey Wilkinson, Children's Corner "Victoria" w/ CC "Ruthie" sleeve

@abbeydwilkinson used a high-quality silk dupioni in Navy for Christmas 2024 Mommy & Me silk makes! Of Maria's dress Abbey said, "This is the Children’s Corner Store Victoria with their Scallop Add-on Pack collar. I also changed the sleeve to the one from their cult favorite, Ruthie. I modified the belt by making three small tucks (1/4 inch) on a large piece of fabric and then cut out the belt to suit my liking. It is approximately 3 inch wide. I hand tacked the belt on top of the dress instead of following Children’s Corner’s directions and incorporating it into the side seams. There wasn’t much reasoning behind that decision, I just didn’t read the directions. I then gave a nod to the tucks in the belt by adding tucks to the skirt of the dress. Each tuck is 1 inch wide, beginning 1 inch above the hem." For Abbey's skirt, she used the out of print "Skirt (Betty) and Blouse (Kay)" pattern from Children's Corner.
