Per Peony Patterns blog, "Bettina's little girl will be a flower girl this summer and for this very special wedding she wanted to create a timeless and classic flower girl dress. We love that little touch of 'something blue' used in the waistband and sash! Bettina used the Wisteria bodice and sash but modified the neckline and back using the Calliandra pattern to create this elegant dress. For the skirt she used the Juniper pattern and added a bobbinette skirt for more volume and an additional skirt as a lining. For such a special dress, you need special fabrics, all which were purchased from Farmhouse Fabrics. Bettina used a gorgeous sheer voile backing from Spain with cotton embroidered flowers, cotton sateen subtle sheen blue for the sash, bobbinette for underskirt and comfort cotton batiste for the skirt lining. Such a classic and delightful gown that will make any flower girl feel special! "
